Pride in the Library [Daily Photo #819]
Yesterday I went to the
Sello library to return my Pride reading, and there was a Pride
display! ^u^ But the library was closing, so I didn't have time to
properly check it out.
Guess who managed to get to the library 5 minutes before closing? =D— Екатерина (@EkaterinaTrayt) 28 June 2018

Luckiefun's Restaurant [Daily Photo #806]
New restaurant Luckiefun's
has opened near Sello (Leppävaarankatu 12), and today we checked its
lunch-time menu out! Very nice selection of sushi and other East
Asian foods like miso and curry tofu. Vegan meals are clearly marked.
They have many restaurants in Helsinki, Vantaa, Espoo, Turku and
Tampere, check the list here.
That seaweed salad was
sooooo delicious!

White in the Garden [Daily Photo #800]
Although we now have a
very gothic black petunia, there's also lots of white in our yard.
Here are some of the white plants we have!

My International Pride [Daily Photo #797]
It's that time of the year when I read only LGBTQIA books, so I'm
going to show you some of what I've prepared for this June's reading.
Happy Pride! \^u^/
My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness by Nagata Kabi, translated by
Jocelyne Allen
[Japan]
“The heart-rending autobiographical manga that’s taken the
internet by storm!
My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness is an honest and heartfelt look
at one young woman’s exploration of her sexuality, mental
well-being, and growing up in our modern age. Told using expressive
artwork that invokes both laughter and tears, this moving and highly
entertaining single volume depicts not only the artist’s burgeoning
sexuality, but many other personal aspects of her life that will
resonate with readers.”
