New(ish) books ^^

Last December my book shelves got a few new inhabitants, but then I forgot to tell you about them. Better later than never, right? :D *forever scatter-minded* 

First, my birthday books. Cakes are good of course, but I prefer to get booooks. ^^

Codename Sailor V was a gift from Katya to Katya. :D This is the manga where the Sailor Moon world started. At first there was only Sailor Venus, but soon Naoko Takeuchi created a new manga called Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon with many more Sailor Senshi, and then the anime was made, and it conquered the world, and we all still love it because it's awesome. (^o^)/

Today is 19^th which means it's exist†trace's day! Their name is pronounced as igujisuto toreisu in Japanese, and “igu” sounds like 19. ;-)

☆* Sailor Moon in my life *☆

When I was a ~10 years old girl, Sailor Moon came to Russia. It was one of the first anime shown there. I loved it from the very first episode I saw. Sailor Moon aired on weekends, and if I managed to wake up early, I could watch the same episode twice – at breakfast and lunch. I remember trying to eat soup when something tragic happened in the end of season 1, I think the soup was suddenly salty.

Yesterday I found toys on my desk. Guys, what are you looking at? Are you admiring my Enceladus wallpaper or...?

Spiral Daisakusen! Hey, did you all just buy me exist†trace's newest single? Aww, guys! Or was it my husband?..

Although I'm not a fan of the titular song Spiral Daisakusen (too pop), I enjoy Antique Doll and Yume Ni Kiss Wo. Antique Doll has Mally's drum solo ♡ and Yume Ni Kiss Wo shows off Jyou's voice perfectly. And, it's nice to support such a wonderful band. The single costs only € 2.97 on Google Play.

exist†trace's old songs are much heavier. \m/ I hope they'll release something like that too.

A year ago I was browsing photos of long-haired men and came across someone called Atsushi Sakurai. Enchanted, I googled him and discovered he was the singer of Buck-Tick, a Japanese rock band. I checked their songs and fell in love at once. Lucky! ^.^

Here are some of my favourite Buck-Tick's songs. I tried to arrange them to flow from one to another nicely. I hope you'll like their music! It's quite diverse, just what I need. And the vocalist is sooo... charismatic. ;-)

I read this article, Some Pros and Cons of Organizing Your Bookshelves by Color, and wondered about my books. Do I even have all the rainbow colours? After a bit of searching I discovered that purple books are rare. Very important thing to know! :D

Прочла я статью про плюсы и минусы расстановки книг по цветам и задумалась о своих книжках. Есть ли у меня все цвета радуги? Порыскав по полкам, я обнаружила, что фиолетовых корешков ну очень мало. Очень важное открытие! :D

And because that wasn't enough, I also took pictures of my discoveries! :D I tried to make a rainbow + black and white out of our books. Here is what I managed.

Russian rainbow. Hey, the “purple” book looks less blue in reality! Oh well.
