Oatly Vegan Milk

Oatly is the Swedish maker of vegan oat-based products. “No milk. No soy. No badness.” They make 100% plant-based milk, ice cream, vanilla sauce, cooking cremes,  iMat fraiche and yoghurts. (Here are their products available in Finland and other countries.) Recently a new apple-pear drink appeared in the local shops, and I had to try it. As always with Oatly, it was delicious. (⌒▽⌒)

Finland + Sweden + South Africa = ?

  Music doesn't recognize borders between countries. You meet someone from afar and then you find out that you listen to the same songs. My friend Agnia from Uzbekistan loves a British band Placebo, and so do I. Rita from Latvia and I are both crazy about Finnish metal. With Rurousha, South African living in Tokyo, we share passion to the Princess Mononoke soundtrack. Songs are the place where all languages become one – the language of music. And musicians from different corners of the world often unite to create something beautiful.

На пару с Агнией из Узбекистана мы балдеем от британцев Placebo, Рита из Латвии, как я, обожает финский металл, а Rurousha, живующая в Токио уроженка ЮАР, разделяет со мной страсть к саундтреку «Принцессы Мононоке». Музыка — то место, где все языки сливаются в один — язык музыки. И музыканты из разных уголков планеты часто объединяются, чтобы создать что-то красивое.

  More photos from my husband's work trip to Sweden. He attended the Eurocall conference in the University of Gothenburg. There were participants from many countries, including Japan. Hubby even learned some Irish English from... a Thai woman :).

  My husband is a project manager of KungFu Writing. It's a feedback software allowing teachers, editors and the like to give a nice, clear, structured feedback online. It is already used in some Finnish universities.

 Мой муж — менеджер проекта KungFu Writing. Это компьютерная программа, позволяющая учителям, редакторам и т.п. давать понятную, структурированную обратную связь в онлайне. Она уже используется в некоторых финских университетах.

Gothenburg

  In August during his work trip my husband visited Gothenburg, the second largest city in Sweden. Gothenburg was founded in 1621 by King Gustavus Adolphus. It's the largest seaport in the Nordic countries. The well-known company Volvo was founded in Gothenburg. Amidst Gothenburg twin towns are Turku, Riga, Tallinn and St. Petersburg. There are many interesting things to see in this city, and even though my husband didn't have that much free time, he still visited some places. Below are his photos.

  В августе мой муж был в командировке в Гётеборге, втором по величине городе Швеции. Гётеборг был основан королём Густавом II Адольфом в 1621 году. Это крупнейший морской порт Северной Европы. Всем известный концерн Вольво зародился в Гётеборге. Наш Питер является городом-побратимом Гётеборга, наряду с Ригой, Турку, Таллином и несколькими другими городами. Все фотки сделаны мужем.
