Long story short: 3 years ago I started learning Mandarin Chinese! :D I've learned over 1500 characters so far, and am almost done reading my first Chinese novel, Saye by Wu Zhe! To help me on this journey I bought two essentials: a Chinese cookbook and a huuuuge dictionary, both from AliExpress.
