You know me. I don't do boy bands or pop music, but for more Japanese practice, watch this video. Fast forward to 4 minutes to hear the astonishing voice of counter-tenor Yoshikazu Mera.
Did you just call Creature Creature a boy band? ^^ Morrie, the vocalist, was born in 1964. So that I know we're talking about the same thing, what are your definitions of pop music and boy band? For me pop is a genre, like rock, folk, etc. For some it's what's popular. I don't mind pop as genre, but pop as what's on radio now is usually meh or ew. As for boy bands (if we go with Wikipedia definition - Backstreet boys, NSYNC, etc), I never liked them. What I need in music is emotions - I want the song to move me. Great technical skills and interesting instruments are nice too :) I do prefer rock and metal though.
Thanks for the link! How did you know I LOVE behind the scenes videos? ^^ And I love that song. Yoshikazu Mera has a truly unique voice. I also like Kodamas (so cute), Eboshi Tatara song and one more I don't remember name of - that intense, rhythmical track.
