When You Can't Buy… [Daily Photo #512]
When
you can't buy something, take a photo! =D I'm collecting Schleich animal figurines, but I can only buy a new one once I've written a
certain amount of words, and I don't have enough for a new toy yet.
(My previous reward was this donkey.) I'm working on 3+ things right
now, veeeery irregularly, but these rewards help! What better way to
stimulate my productivity than a promise of a toy? =D

IKEA Noms [Daily Photo #506]
So,
yesterday we went to IKEA, and we got some new noms there! Oat
smoothies, an instant mate drink and a spice mix. The spice mix is
the only thing we haven't tried yet, the rest was delicious!

Flowers Before Storm [Daily Photo #499]
As
soon as I took these photos the thunderstorm started! The lightnings
were huuuuuge! I think this was the first time in my life I could actually
see them clearly, sharply, almost slow-motion-like instead of just a
bright, vague flash everywhere, and they had a purple glow, like on
photos. The sky itself looked bluish-green. When the storm was over,
the sun set and everything looked yellow! There was such a strong
wind I worried about our plants, but it seems everyone is okay. Phew!

Trees in Nuuksio [Daily Photo #497]
We
went hiking in Nuuksio today, me, my husband, and his brother. The
weather was pretty nice, not too hot, with occasional refreshing
breeze. It was so fun! I'm a bit tired from all the hiking, so I
won't post that many photos, only 12, lol. To narrow it down, I had
to pick a theme!

Young Ducks [Daily Photo #494]
Today
I met a group of young ducks that were a bit shy. However, eventually
curiosity (or, most likely, hunger) won, and they approached my
offerings, oat flakes.

was rather hard to focus on taking pictures when that watermelon
smelled so delicious, but somehow I managed not
to try tasting it while shooting! =D

Faber-Castell Manga Pens [Daily Photo #492]
Some
time ago I bought another box of the Faber-Castell manga pens because
some of my old ones were running out of ink. These pens are really
great if you like drawing thin, sharp lines, like me. ^^ The ink
dries fast and doesn't smudge, which is a nice bonus!
