#1187: Wild strawberries in a fancy presentation! :D

Contemplative Alia.

#1188: Although I wish I wasn't so behind with my photos, it's nice
to see bright summer memories in the middle of gloomy autumn!

Climbing [Daily Photo #1146]

Last May thanks to my friend Xan I finally got to see what climbing looks like in real life. Now, I'm not planning to start climbing at all, being a couch potato and all ;p but I wanted to see the thing my friend loves so much. And it was fun*! Of course I took lots of photos, even though it was a bit challenging – I had zero experience photographing anything sporty.

*despite being threatened with planking! =D

Ferns and Infinities [Daily Photo #1140-1145]

#1140: I was brushing my hair while re-watching The 100 and noticed that my hairband formed the infinity symbol, which is quite meaningful in the show. :D

#1141: My piglets got a new friend, a piglet I brought from Moscow, my old buddy. :D

New Books, New Books! [Daily Photo #1099]

my unread books: excuse us, we'd like to…
me: ohhhhh time to buy new books! look how pretty???

Yeah...

So, here are the books I recently acquired! :D

The Other Me by Suzanne van Rooyen
“Fifteen-year-old Treasa Prescott thinks she's an alien. She doesn't fit in with the preppy South African private school crowd and feels claustrophobic in her own skin. Treasa is worried she might spend life as a social pariah when she meets Gabriel du Preez. Gabriel plays the piano better than Beethoven, has a black belt in karate, and would look good wearing a garbage bag. Treasa thinks he's perfect. It might even be love, as long as Gabriel doesn't find out she's a freak.

An Unpleasant Journey [Daily Photo #1090-1093]

In March I had to go to Moscow because bureaucracy is sooo awesome. So fun when they insist you must go there to sign something when in theory it could have been sent via mail. Email. Something 21-century-ish, I dunno. Anyway, here are some pics from my unpleasant and exhausting trip.

*grumble grumble*

#1090: Oodi Library in Helsinki where we spent time before my train. It's huge and quite different from most libraries. One day I'll go there to explore it properly. :D
