Gothenburg

  In August during his work trip my husband visited Gothenburg, the second largest city in Sweden. Gothenburg was founded in 1621 by King Gustavus Adolphus. It's the largest seaport in the Nordic countries. The well-known company Volvo was founded in Gothenburg. Amidst Gothenburg twin towns are Turku, Riga, Tallinn and St. Petersburg. There are many interesting things to see in this city, and even though my husband didn't have that much free time, he still visited some places. Below are his photos.

  В августе мой муж был в командировке в Гётеборге, втором по величине городе Швеции. Гётеборг был основан королём Густавом II Адольфом в 1621 году. Это крупнейший морской порт Северной Европы. Всем известный концерн Вольво зародился в Гётеборге. Наш Питер является городом-побратимом Гётеборга, наряду с Ригой, Турку, Таллином и несколькими другими городами. Все фотки сделаны мужем.

  A science fiction bookstore! A bookstore with nothing else but sci-fi? Wow, sounds like paradise to me, I wish I could visit it. Although Sweden is very expensive, so I probably wouldn't buy much... Books should be cheaper! Some people need them like air, after all. T_T

 Магазин научной фантастики! Книжный, где нет ничего кроме фантастики? Это же самый настоящий рай, хотелось бы мне его посетить. Правда, Швеция очень дорогая, так что скорее всего много я бы не купила... Книги должны быть дешевле! Некоторым людям они нужны как воздух. Т_Т
